Caplugs® Evergreen MST™ Cryogenic Vials are one of the two styles of small sample vials offered by our catalog, ideal for long-term storage of biological samples at ultra-low temperatures. Made from durable polypropylene co-polymer, these vials are leak-proof and designed to withstand temperatures as low as vapor phase* liquid nitrogen (-320°F/-195°C). Perfect for use in biobanks, research labs and clinical settings, storing blood/serum samples, cell cultures, sperm and other biological specimens. What makes this style of vial different is the built-in lip at the neck of the tube for easier placement in filling machines and provides a ridge that allows for minimal surface contact during transport.
