Lift Off for Delta Scientific
In 1985, Ken McGuinness, Larry Drago, and Frances Widmar took a bold leap of faith in Sudbury, Ontario, launching Delta Scientific to supply fire assay and lab products to the mining industry. Like Flash Gordon blasting off into uncharted worlds, their vision set the course for decades of discovery and progress.
The Catalogue Strikes Back
Delta publishes its first catalog, bringing order and clarity to its expanding portfolio. Much like a celebrated sequel, it symbolized confidence, visibility, and growth across Canada’s scientific supplies community.
Mission HQ
Delta purchases its first Mississauga headquarters, establishing a true home base. Echoing the maiden voyage of a Star Trek starship, this marked the beginning of Delta’s next chapter of expansion and development.
ISO: A Science Odyssey
Delta achieves ISO 9001 certification, proving its commitment to rigorous quality. This badge of trust aligned Delta with the precision of a science odyssey, strengthening its position as a dependable partner.
Facility Awakens
Delta moves into a modern Mississauga facility, expanding warehousing, logistics, and team capacity. As with a long-awaited sequel, this milestone rejuvenated Delta, delivering faster service and positioning it for future success.
