WIPA-BOOTS responds to a major concern in the Livestock Industry; the prevention, detection and control of diseases caused by pathogenic microorganisms such as viruses and bacteria.
Used to detect pathogens such as viruses (H1N1, African swine fever, PRRS, Cicovirus) and bacteria (Salmonella and E. Coli). Sample collection is done using a pair of pre-moistened cotton boot covers , with Trypton salt which allows the sampling of a large area.
